Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault
The Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CCASA) is a membership organization promoting safety, justice, and healing for survivors while working toward the elimination of sexual violence.
Colorado Bureau of Investigation
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation provides forensic/laboratory service and handle evidence kit testing.
The Ending Violence Against Women Program (EVAW) Program is a multidisciplinary training and technical assistance program consisting of professionals in the fields of Prosecution, Law Enforcement, Victim Advocacy and Medical Services. EVAW is funded through the Colorado Crime Victim Services Fund. The program also provides technical assistance to prosecutors, law enforcement officers, victim advocates, coordinated community councils and other multi-disciplinary training teams across the state.
Colorado Sane/Safe Project
Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) programs have medical professionals trained in sexual assault response and care. These programs provide medical care and evidence collection, if desired, for sexual assault victims (evidence collection is not required to obtain sexual assault specific medical care).
